SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN and ADOLESCENTS

Problems relating primarily to genetic defects will most likely have been expressed by the time that the child begins primary school. The new problems encountered in younger school-aged children are more related to fatigue of the neuro-muscular system. This usually occurs as a result of the challenge applied to the developing neuro-muscular system of a young child by the heavy demands of school.
