CONCLUSION

Causes of Nasal/Sinus Infection

Ducted heating in the presence of carpet and cigarette smoke, are important pre-disposing factors nowadays of nasal/sinus infections. Air-conditioned and dry air environments are also pre-disposing factors. A compromised immune system due to stress, inadequate diet and exposure to cold or draughts, can also be important causes of nasal/sinus infection. More acute but relatively short-lasting causes are common colds and flues.
